Orders to be placed in Epic via the artificial tears orderable (ERX 888800771). This orderable contains multiple generic artificial tears ERXs to allow us to switch between products as availability/stock changes. By default, the orderable should dispense the unit dose artificial tears product (generic Refresh) as this is generally more cost effective than dispensing a bulk bottle of artificial tears. If a bulk bottle is required (e.g. if provider requests for it to be kept at bedside for PRN use), pharmacy must manually change the dispensable in verification.
