Additional information
For patients aged 70 or older, cetirizine is preferred over hydroxyzine for itching indications. Please refer to System_RXMEDTI 161 for dosing guidance and exclusion criteria. Orders placed for patients meeting these criteria will be interchanged by pharmacy at order verification.
