Recothrom (recombinant origin) is restricted to use during national shortage of formulary topical thrombin product.

Thrombin JMI spray kits are the formulary thrombin products. If ordered during shortage, Thrombin JMI will be interchanged to Recothrom.

Evithrom is non-formulary, not stocked or ordered, and Thrombin JMI should be used instead.
