Oxytrol for Women (OTC) patch can be used on males as well as females at a much lower cost.  These two patches (prescription & OTC) are essentially the same product. The OTC patch is labeled "for Women" to discourage men from self-treating overactive bladder symptoms that may warrant additional screening for BPH.  There is no wording on the patch saying for women’s use only.
