For higher doses use multiple 500 mg or 750 mg tablets.

Niacin ER and Niacin Prolonged Release tablets are both recommended to be dosed once daily and are considered sufficiently similar products to use interchangeably. 


When interchanging niacin, do not interchange immediate release products with sustained release products or vice versa. This can increase chances of adverse drug reactions.
