A patient's own supply of Jelmyto may be administered. Must be obtained from a specialty pharmacy through a patient assistance program or patient-specific prescription. 

Jelymyto - Mitomycin comes as a powder to be reconstitued with a gel solution and administered via ureteral catheter or nephrostomy tube.

Mitomycin topical solution in peds - W&C will sometimes use topical mitomycin in the OR for treatment of aerodigestive disorders such as esophageal strictures. This will be prepared by PSP at Main. The dose can be entered into MedManager using the "mitoMYcin 0.4 mg/mL SYRINGE for Topical Admin" orderable. Enter a dose of 2 mg/5 mL and type in order comments "0.4 mg/mL solution"; this provides extra drug in case additional applications at different sites are needed. Send the label to PSP and PSP will draw it up. Pharmacists should close the loop with W&C by asking them to set up who will pick up the dose at PSP.
