Comments:

Important Note:  1 drop Lugol's = 0.05 mL = 8 mg iodide/iodine

Usual Dose (Thyrotoxicosis):  10 drops Lugol's (0.5 mL) PO TID, diluted in juice or water - dispense as a unit dose, not as a bulk container for oral use

Do not confuse with SSKI

May be used topically - may dispense in larger volumes
