Drug Shortage Update (July 2017):
EPINEPHrine vials labeled as intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SC) use was approved for intravenous (IV) use during national shortage.
EPINEPHrine, DILUTED ("EPINEPHrine spritzers"): Restricted to pediatric and adult patients in critical care areas (including emergency department and anesthesia) for use by physicians for hemodynamic instability. Not recommended in cardiac arrest scenarios.
