  • 0.05% emulsion ophthalmic 1 drop in affected eye(s) QID

prednisoLONE ophthalmic (Pred Forte)

  • acetate 1% suspension ophthalmic 1 drop in affect eye(s) QID

Durezol is non-formulary, not stocked, and a generic form of Pred Forte should be used instead, given at the same dosage.  If long term use is needed, loteprednol can be used after 10 – 14 days of prednisoLONE.
