  • 45 mg tablet oral
ferrous sulfate (Feosol)
  • 325 mg tablets (ferrous sulfate liquid unit dose 400 mg/5 mL may be used if patient needs liquid formulation of these products)
65 mg elemental iron per tablet (or 65 mg elemental iron per 5 mL of ferrous sulfate liquid). Give at same dosing interval.
