UCERIS is classified as formulary, restricted to use for inpatients who are continuing therapy from home and are unable to use their own supply. Initiation should be deferred to after discharge. If inpatient drug management is needed, other formulary agents such as prednisone, mesalamine preparations, etc. should be used until discharge.
Entocort EC is classified as formulary, restricted to continuation of therapy and are unable to use their own supply.
UPDATED: 26 April 2016 -- PULMICORT Respules - adult dosing is off label but supported by studies for asthma and COPD.
