Comments:

Apomorphine – Formulary status, low stock, be alert for errors – confusion with “morphine”, administer subcutaneously only, given with continued anti-nausea drug but not 5-Ht3 antagonist, renal/hepatic dosage reduction (not specific), QT-c interval prolongation.

October 2021: Apomorphine is currently only available from specialty pharmacies for patient-specific prescriptions.  Obtain home supply for inpatient use if available.

 

 

Kynmobi: Non formulary. Inpatients may use home supply.
