Sodium Bicarbonate -- 15 Nov 2017 Medical Executive Committee meeting memo -- Both the HH P&T Committee and the HH Medical Executive Committee have approved continuing the usage criteria that was approved at the beginning of the shortage. Since usage in Code-0 situations is not an approved criteria, sodium bicarbonate injection will not be available in crash carts nor in pharmacist code kits.
