Note:  These products are not interchangeable on a 1:1 basis.  Theracys contains a higher amount of live, attenuated vaccine than TICE BCG.

TICE BCG treatment schedule (per product insert):

• Induction:  50mg intravesical instillation every week x 6 weeks. (schedule may be repeated once if tumor remission has not been achieved)
• Maintenance:  one dose given every month for at least 6-12 months

Theracys treatment schedule (per product insert):

• Induction:  81mg intravesical instillation every week x 6 weeks
• Maintenance:  one dose given 3, 6, 12, 18, and 24 months following initial dose
