Hey everyone,


We've got another update in the COVID shuffle. CSSM beds 1-7 will now be considered ICU beds. Remember to check the bed #'s when determining if a medication is appropriate in these areas. Below is a comprehensive list of all the updated unit changes and responsibilities as of today.

CSSM:-Beds 1-7 will be a 24/7 CCU (ICU).

-Beds 8-18 will be a 24/7 PCU.

-N2 will pick-up PKS/NSS consults for beds 1-18.

-UB5/12 will retain order verification responsibilities.
-Beds 19-36 will remain a traditional CSSM.

6MST:

-Beds 1647-1650 (ICU)

-No change in workflow. UB1/10 will continue order verification for those beds.
-No change in PKS consults.

PACU (HORR 1-17):
-Phone # 58111
-No change in workflow. The Q's continue to verify PACU orders.

ICU (HORR 18-36):
-Phone # 44805
-UB3/UB8 will pick-up the verification responsibilities for HORR 18-36. PPM adjusted.  (note: all HORR orders will show on PPM, just focus on beds 18-36)
-Z2 will pick-up 3NE PKS/NSS consults
-D2 will pick-up HORR 18-36 PKS/NSS consults
