Banatrol Plus Brochure-RF0A

ProSource TF vs Liquacel

TF and NoCarb Brochure-RA0B-singles

Hello,

The Food Service department is stocking a few new items. Prosource TF and Prosource NoCarb are taking the place of liquacel. Prosource TF is given via tube and does not require dilution. The Prosource NoCarb is an oral product and will be provided on patient's trays when ordered. The new product is less expensive, easier to administer, and has a higher protein digestibility score.

Banatrol is a new product that contains a prebiotic and banana flakes and is used to treat diarrhea/loose stools. It can be given via tube or po. When an order is entered for banatrol, special instructions should be included that specify how to administer ("mix 1 packet with 120mls of H2O" for example).

See attached for product details. Let me know if you have any questions.
