Subject: Do Not administer Flu Vaccine order

Hey all!

A new Communication Order called “Do Not administer Flu Vaccine during this encounter” has been created for providers to order if they do not want a patient to receive the flu vaccine during their current stay.

This is currently live in Cerner.  Education has been distributed to providers via e-mail and their Cerner splashscreen, and separate education is going out to nursing.

Please read the linked tip sheet here for further details and contact me or AMT if you have any questions about this.
