Cerner updates in PRODUCTION are completed.  Any new order for insulin drip should route to the new PREMIX product.  Please let me know if you experience or hear of any issues.

New Product Alert: PREMIX Insulin 100 units/100 mL for Insulin Infusions Available 7/22

 

Effective Wednesday, July 22 new orders for insulin drip (infusion) product will be dispensed using a new 100 unit/100 mL NS PREMIX product (Brand Name: Myxredlin) in place of IV Room-prepared solutions.  This new PREMIX product will be stocked in Pyxis devices of high-use areas in a special red colored bin located inside of the Pyxis refrigerator.  If the PREMIX product is unavailable in your Pyxis device, please request a resupply via your standard Med Request process.
