Subject: New - temperature monitoring

Beginning Tuesday, July 14:

All pharmacy employees will be required to self-check temperatures at the beginning of the shift at one of the areas listed below AND to log temperature results.

It’s preferable for HHM UB, CS, and residents to document on the 5^th floor, but at this time you may document at whichever pharmacy area is most convenient for you.

Remember: If your temperature is > 99°F with infrared thermometer, retest temperature with oral thermometer, if oral temperature > 100.4°F, contact Employee Health at 256-265-8046 and your supervisor.

Pharmacy areas available to check and document your temperature:

1. Central pharmacy  
2. W/C pharmacy 
3. PSP pharmacy 
4. Retail 2^ndfloor 
5. Med Mall Pharmacy 
6. GMT pharmacy
7. Plaza pharmacy 
8. Dowdle Center
9. HHM 5^thfloor
10. BMT pharmacy

As our and hospital COVID-19 + numbers increase, we must be diligent in ensuring that we do not spread the virus to our coworkers and patients.
