Subject: Tolvaptan (SAMSCA) 7.5mg

Good afternoon,

We now have tolvaptan (SAMSCA) 7.5 mg (1/2 of a 15 mg tablet) available for product selection in Cerner, Pyxis ES and carousel. 

Previously, the Samsca 15 mg tablet was dispensed for the 7.5 mg dose. Dispensing the half doses from Main will help to ensure accurate dosing and decrease any waste. These are loaded on our main carousel and have a MILT label for scanning.
