Subject: CRITICAL ISSUE: fentaNYL and LORazepam reminders

Berkley said that the spike in the use of FENtanyl and LORazepam is still there and we are blowing through it. We need to make a concerted effort to get and keep patients off these drips and on to alternative agents. We also have very little cis-atracurium.

Please review your patients and work with your prescribers to switch appropriate patients to an alternative drug, using FENtanyl andLORazepam only when nothing else will work.
