Subject: External Rx History Query Was Presenting Incorrect Information 

 

From approximately 4/21/20 @3:00 PM until 4/22/20 @5:45 PM,  the External Rx History in Cerner that shows a patient’s outpatient prescription fill history may have been completely inaccurate.  During this time, it was possible for prescription fill history to display for random people in different states (e.g. California, Virginia, Arizona) and who were completely unrelated to the patient.  Please be cautious and confirm all fill information with patients for accuracy, especially if you used IMPORT within the past 3 days, and if you discover inaccurate information contact the IT Help Desk ASAP at Ext 5-7777.
