Subject: Adult ertapenem change

Adult doses of ertapenem (Invanz) 1,000 mg are changing from IV Push to IVPB in Mini-bag Plus (MBP). Main and MH: NS 100 mL MBP. W/C: NS 50 mL MBP. 

Cerner and Pyxis changes go into effect at all facilities tomorrow. 

Please load ertapenem 1,000 mg vials into profile Pyxis upon order verification. 

Updated flyers for IV push antibiotics AND MBP drugs to load attached. Please let me know if corrections are needed.
