Subject: boxed epinephrine 1 mg/10 mL syringes

We received a large shipment of boxed epinephrine 1 mg/10 mL syringes today. While this is not enough to resume normal distribution, we do have enough to start adding some boxed syringes back to the ADULTcode trays.

Beginning today, please add 2  boxed epinephrine 1 mg/10 mL syringes and 4 "EPI Kits" to eachADULT code tray.

Pediatric code trays will continue to have 4  boxed epinephrine syringes and ZERO "EPI Kits".

Pharmacists will need to continue to take extra boxed epinephrine syringes with the RPh code bag when responding to codes.

Thanks,
