Subject: Alaris drug library update - pushed out this morning 2/4

An updated library has been pushed out to the Alaris pumps. 

To accept the new library: 

1. Please be sure to keep pumps plugged in 
2. Pumps that are plugged in and on will receive the new library in the background
3. The new library will be activated when the pump is cycled (turn off, turn back on and select "yes" to "New patient?").  
4. Look for the new library name on the screen to be sure you have the most current library (HH 2.4.20). If your pump has not updated yet, plug it in and leave it on for about 5 minutes before cycling again.

New library name:  HH 2.4.20

Changes include the following:

Neonatal Profile

1. Added KCl bolus
2. Changed TPN < 10 kg entry to TPN NICU.  Mapped D10 1/4NS with protein, Neonatal Stock TPN, and TPN Neonate to this entry.  
3. Increased maximum soft limit for dexmedetomidine to 1.5 mcg/kg/h

Pediatric Profile

1. Changed TPN setup to TPN Peds with 2 different therapies.  One with infant amino acids and the other with peds/adult amino acids.   Mapped both TPN entries to this new fluid.
2. Added famotidine, fosaprepitant, mesna, dexrazoxane, ceftaroline, acetazolamide
3. Updated Unasyn entry to accept orders in grams in addition to mg
4. Decreased minimum alert for IV fluids to 0.1 mL/hr
5. Added promethazine intermittent

Adult Profile

1. Added nitroprusside 50 mg/250 mL concentration
2. Changed the name for acetylcysteine (Acetadote) 'Step 3' to 'zMaintenance' to prevent confusion if additional infusions are ordered (after 3rd infusion). The 'z' is to put this entry at the bottom of the list.
