Adult Continuous Paralytic PowerPlan Education

Beginning this Sunday (11/10/19), paralytic drip discontinuation will require verification by a pharmacist (cisatracurium, vecuronium, rocuronium, atracurium). Please carefully review the attached education on what to review when verifying paralytic drips and what to do when paralytics are discontinued.  Ensuring orders are placed through the correct PowerPlans will ensure appropriate sedation/analgesia for these patients.

Thank you to everyone that was involved in this enhancement. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks so much!
