Subject: FW: 1Chart 2018 Code Upgrade Go-live

Please review the timeline for Cerner Upgrade this weekend below from IT. 

Note the anticipated log-off and log-on times indicated by IT as well as the possibility of additional requests to log out and log back in. This notification will show as a banner on your screen indicating the time you have until the system will automatically log you out. Be sure you finish your actions (submit/sign/save) you are working on before being logged off to prevent loss of work. 

Some specific notes for Pharmacy: 

1. Interfaces to external systems will be down from 11:00pm to Midnight on Saturday (11/9) . Therefore, 

a. Pyxis will need to be placed on Override during this time 

b. Pharmacy Keeper will not receive any orders during this time 

2. Pharmacy Order Image will need to be placed on downtime procedures (print to designated locations in Central pharmacies) between 3AM and 5AM on Sunday (11/10) . Madison will place their own on override the evening before to print to Main. 

3. Batches will not run between the hours of 11PM Saturday (11/9) and 3:30AM Sunday (11/10) . Multiple batches (including some due to run at 4AM) will be printed manually beginning 10:30PM on Saturday to cover during this downtime. 

If you have any questions/concerns prior to this upgrade, please let me know. If any issues are experienced this weekend during/after the upgrade process, please contact the Command Center as indicated by IT below ( 256-265-0333) to report the issue.
