Subject: TJC tracer questions

Many of you will be involved in tracers when TJC arrives (Oct 28???). Please take a look at some of the questions that have been asked this year at similar hospitals:

Choose the "Q" from the to left of the Pulse page, then Vizient and TJC survey notes, Vizient Questions 2019, then your choice of institutions. Probably the ones most helpful to us would be DCH and Infirmary Health. The questions regarding meds are buried in the various tracers, but will give you an idea of what we may be asked here. (There is a separate section for central pharmacies/sterile products).

Also, be sure to give your cell # (or other contact info) to the nurse manager and charge nurse of your unit(s) so that they can contact you when surveyors arrive on their unit.
