Subject: HH-Main Pharmacist - Weekend PKS responsibilities

HHM pharmacists,

After a couple weeks of UB's regaining PKS task, I've had several questions about the UB's PKS responsibilities on the weekend.

Clarifications on current weekend/holiday workflow below :

    * PKS tasks will not be delegated to UB's.

    * UB pharmacists are expected to complete initial notes for new PKS consults only.

    * Central pharmacy, W's, and midnight pharmacists are not expected to complete initial PKS notes, but are expected to enter initial dose and regimen.

    * Always make sure the Daily Consult is entered appropriately so that a task is created for the following day.

Don't hesitate to contact the weekend clinical specialist if assistance is needed. Contact Gregg or myself if you need additional training or have further questions.

Thanks,
