Famotidine injection is now available at McKesson, and we have adequate stock to resume regular ordering. Of course, you should continue to covert IV to PO when appropriate.

Famotidine injection is on national backorder; it is estimated that we have 2 1/2 months supply at this time. Please convert all orders that meet criteria from IV famotidine to PO, beginning immediately. If the drug is not indicated, please work with the prescriber to discontinue acid suppression.
