Staff:

 

Each Pyxis station has 2 printers.

 

  1. Thermal printer that is located inside the Pyxis station and prints receipts for Nursing removals. (Pharmacy provides paper refills for this printer)

 

  1. Label printer that is located on top of the Pyxis. Prints receipts for nursing to label syringes. (Nursing orders their own labels)

 

If Nursing is not using the label printer or if it is malfunctioning they will need to hand-write labels like they used to do. 

 

 

If a nursing unit calls and reports a problem for either printer, please send an e-mail or call  Leanne Bentley or myself. Do NOT send these calls to the Hospital IT Help Desk or to Logistics.
