Subject: Peptamen to Vital - formulary switch

During the last Nutrition Committee it was decided that Vital 1.5 would replace Peptamen 1.5. They are similar products manufactured by two different companies.

We now have Vital 1.5 in stock. iCare is in the process of being updated.

For now, continue to select Peptamen if Vital 1.5 is needed. Please add 'Send Vital 1.5' to the tube feed comment line. Food services will be sending Vital 1.5 for Peptamen.

Thanks
