Ordered As

We've had a few questions/issues come up recently related to the "Ordered As" field in MedManager. ALWAYS check this field when verifying or modifying orders! This information will display on the MAR, so it's very important that is correct and not misleading. There are a variety of scenarios that can result with inappropriate "Ordered As" information including: orders that are adjusted using the cancel/reorder function, orders that are modified to different products (ex: switching IVIG products or dosage forms), and several situations involving home medications and therapeutic substitutions.

Please see attached tip sheet for additional information, and let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Thanks!
