Subject: Humira First Dosing

Folks, When processing Humira Loading doses in our First Dose Free Drug program associated with Abbvie Pharmaceuticals, please remember to inform drug info of the dose ordered/dispensed.  We can only keep 2 patient loading doses here at a time, and I have to re-order a replacement dose whenever one is used.  Also, I have to notify the drug company that a dose has been used for outpt follow-up purposes.  Notifying drug info is one of the steps included in the order set. We had an order today for Humira loading dose for a patient ordered by a GI physician, and have no drug to give due to drug info was not informed about the last 2 patients receiving doses, and thus the doses were not reordered.   Let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks
