04/09/19 SR -- New Sentri7 Rule - Taper and Titration of Infusions on the Floor

Subject: *New* Sentri7 Rule - Taper and Titration of Infusions on the Floor

There is a new Sentri7 rule in the "Clinical Alerts" tab - Taper and Titration of Infusions on the Floor. The intent is to identify inappropriate titratable continuous infusions that may be continued (usually not physically), but electronically continued upon a patient transfer to a step-down unit.

Please review any alerts daily per the Suggested Action described in Sentri7. You can easily see infusion stop time and a comment of "DO NOT TITRATE" if you select Relevant Drugs and hover over the "Note" icon in Sentri7.

Let me know if you have any questions or see any unusual medications qualifying for this rule.
