A group of our pharmacists and technicians have Tap N Go log in access ( those that work primarily on the nursing units). This message is for that group of pharmacy employees - see important information as listed below.
Thanks

We have had some users that have been abruptly kicked out of 1Chart. We think that some of these instances are related to how users are utilizing TAP N GO (Imprivata). Once a user "TAPS IN" with TAP N GO (Imprivata), they should NOT select the 1Chart icon, they should select the PowerChart icon or the other appropriate solution for their workflow. They also must "TAP OUT" when they are done at that computer. IF they don't "TAP OUT", another user can come behind them and could be utilizing their desktop that was loaded. IF the original user goes to another computer and uses "TAP IN", the current user of their previous computer that they DID NOT TAP OUT of will be kicked out of whatever they are doing on that computer.
Please see the attached tip that is posted on PULSE and is in the FAQ folder. Please make sure your staff have this information.
Thank you,
Cheri
