Subject: Updated IV syringe iCare label

Effective Thursday 1/12: iCare IV syringe labels will print with two labels (ONLY class IV and subclass SYR, so these will not print in HHM central). You'll see in the attachment that there are two labels... the top label is unaltered, and the new bottom label has patient info and a barcode. This barcode will be used for PharmacyKeeper Verification (PKV) purposes now and for bedside barcoding purposes later. At this time, if you aren't using PKV, please feel free to either leave the bottom label or discard it if you don't need it.

Example of New and Old label

Please let me know if you have questions.

Thanks,

Berkley
