Subject: HOSPIRA carpuject issue - Labetalol 20 mg-4 mL Syringe
Attachment: DHCP Carpuject Letter                   Labetalol

Please see the attached photo and letter about an issue with Hospira carpuject syringes. Since there is a national shortage of IV labetalol, we are going to start repackaging these labetalol syringes with a filter needle so that we can use them at HH Main. A PULSE page announcement will be posted later today or tomorrow.

This is the same issue that we had with hydromorphone back in July/August.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Steven
