Please see Chris' email below. Beginning tomorrow, August 16th, calcium should be removed from all ADULT TPNs. Boluses are available for adults in whom a calcium dose is essential, but we do not know how long that will last. Of course, we have a plentiful supply of PO calcium. Please let me or PSP know if you have any questions. DAVID

David, we have gotten to the point we feel we need to remove calcium gluconate from adult TPNs (neonates will continue to receive). As of now we can continue to supply calcium gluconate boluses as needed. Calcium chloride is available, but not in super great supply. Can you communicate the removal of calcium from adult TPNs to the staff? Thanks

Chris
