The Alaris library has been updated with the following changes:

  1. alteplase (ADULT): added 12.5 mg/500 mL and 25 mg/500 mL concentrations
  2. mannitol (ADULT): added 100 g/500 mL concentration
  3. penicillin G (ADULT): added

To accept the new library, please be sure to keep pumps plugged in. Pumps that are plugged in and on will receive the new library in the background. The new library will be activated when the pump is cycled (turn off, turn back on and select "yes" to "New patient?"). Look for the new library name on the screen to be sure you have the most current library (HH 7.18.18). If your pump has not updated yet, plug it in and leave it on for about 5 minutes before cycling again.

New library name: HH 7.18.18

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns

We have discovered that the piperacillin-tazobactam 3.375 g/100 mL concentration was accidentally omitted from the most recent library update. I have added it back and made a few more changes that were requested by Anesthesia after Tuesday's update. Therefore, I have pushed a new library update out this morning.

To accept the new library, please be sure to keep pumps plugged in. Pumps that are plugged in and on will receive the new library in the background. The new library will be activated when the pump is cycled (turn off, turn back on and select yes to New patient?).  Look for the new library name on the screen to be sure you have the most current library (HH 7.12.18). If your pump has not updated yet, plug it in and leave it on for about 5 minutes before cycling again.

New library name:  HH 7.9.18

Changes include:

  1. piperacillin-tazobactam (ADULT): added 3.375 g/100 mL and 3.375 g/50 mL back to entry
  2. lidocaine (Anesthesia/Weight-Based; ADULT): changed default dose to 2 mg/kg/h
  3. SUFentanil (Weight-Based; ADULT): added bolus option
