Subject: UB Adjustments

NSS/PKS:
Each UB will process up to 5 folders each day given the CS has at least 5 folders (no more than 1 new folder per UB, no new TPNs/no argatroban).
The CS will evaluate all NSS/PKS folders prior to allocating to the UB.
Any labs outside of the target concentration or range will be addressed by the CS if adjustments are needed prior to 2nd shift arrival.

UB6
The UB6 will transfer 58165 to 51909. The UB6 devices will be brought to central during the UB6 meal break at 9p.

   ED Orders UB6 - 3:30p-10p
    * Faxback normally if nothing being picked
    * If something needs to be dispensed from PSP, stamp with "verify/send" & print to IV room & process order
    * If something needs to be dispensed from central, stamp with "verify/send" & add "vs" as comment. Central pharmacist will keep the ED orders pulled up in HCS to monitor for "vs" in pharmacy work queue. Central pharmacist will follow the manual order guideline for "vs" orders and process the order once medication(s) has been dispensed.

From 10p-12a the UB6 will collapse to central and cover all codes. Prior to 10p, the UB6 responsibilities are the same as all other UB regarding assigned units.

UB7
The UB7 will pick up 3NE beginning at 3:30pm.

UB11

The UB11 will work out of the 2nd floor office from 11:30a-2p. At 2p the UB11 will come down to central.

T/t/Q1/Q2

Cover ED fax-back until 3:30p. (Excludes 9a-11:30a CS coverage)

WEEKENDS ONLY UB4 and UB5

The UB4 and UB5 will come to central from 9:30a-10:30a while the T/t check the big Pyxis batch.

Let me know if there are further clarifications needed.
