Subject: DOBUTamine/ dilTIAZem backorders
We are very low on DOBUTamine bags and out of vials and expect to be out in the next few days. When we run out milrinone (Primacor) is the primary recommendation for alternate therapy (not automatic interchange). The bags have been or will be removed from virtually all Pyxis machines at main including Cath Lab, EP Lab, OR and ED. PSP will dispense all doses.
In addition, we received about a 2 week supply of dilTIAZem ADDVantage vials, so if a provider feels it necessary dilTIAZem is ok to verify/dispense while supplies last. Let me know of questions, thanks
