03/22/18 DC -- TPN, KCL updates

Subject: TPN, KCL updates

We are critically low on sterile water, NaCl, and KCL. Please discontinue all TPNs that are not absolutely necessary to preserve our supply of these agents.

Additionally, we need to add KCL replacement to our "PICK P.O." campaign. When possible, replace potassium with KCL TABLETS (the powder and liquid are incredibly expensive and should only be used when the patient cannot take tablets).
