Attachment: Plum A+ Drug Library Update InstructionsPlum Pump Drug Library Update March 2018
I have pushed out the new drug libraries for the Plum and Alaris (ICU pumps) infusion pumps Please accept the new library as soon as possible on your pump. See the attached flyers for Plum Pump update instructions.
To accept the new library (3/13/18) on the Plum Pump:
- Keep pumps plugged in - the pump cannot accept the new library unless the battery is fully charged
- For any pumps not in use - power on, then power off to receive the prompt to accept the new library
- For any pumps in active use, you will not receive a prompt until the pump is turned off
- When you accept the prompt to update the library, the library will be downloaded onto the pump (about 15 minutes)
- If a pump has not been updated, but is not prompting for an update - plug in the pump and let the battery charge for at least 20 minutes before trying again
- Pumps that do not accept a library after a full battery charge should be taken to Biomed
To accept the new library (Version 15) on the Alaris Pump:
- Keep pumps plugged in
- Pump must be on to receive library (in background)
- Cycle pump to activate library (turn off, then back on)
- When prompted whether it is a new patient, select yes - the new library will be downloaded
