Subject: ED-RX Dispense Meds

In order to streamline the RX dispense process, we've created a new section called "NON-PROFILE-RX Dispense Meds" under the NSS/PKS tab in iCare that includes the following medications:

  • Banana Bag
  • Blood Factors
  • Insulins *these will print to IV room!
  • PCAs
  • tPa (Pulmonary Thrombosis)
  • Zosyns *non-extended infusion doses

**Don't forget, you will still need to add the tube number to these orders!

Please let the pharmacy IT team know if you have any issues or suggestions for other frequently ordered RX dispense meds.

Thanks!

Katie
