Subject: NSS tab change - neutra phos and K Phos IVPB to be added

Pharmacy IT has made some changes to the NSS tab in iCare to expedite and improve the accuracy of ordering NeutraPhos and Potassium Phosphate IVPB boluses during the drug shortage of IV Sodium Phosphate.

Once iCare is updated tomorrow (January 23rd), the NSS tab will now read as below with the addition of NeutraPhos and KPhos IVPB INTERCHANGE.

Note with NeutraPhos packets, the comment field will help guide you to the correct selection.

Please use these selections to implement the interchange.

Please inform myself or IT Pharmacists of any issues related to this change. Thanks .
