You may have seen the PULSE PAGE announcement. Do not verify orders for diazepam (Valium) injection. The MD will have to be notified to change to another medication (we do not have a P&T-approved auto sub). We are in the process of removing it from Pyxis machines too.
The remaining supply will be reserved for HEMSI and Madison Hospital's supply will be for MADISON FIRE & RESCUE.
