Hello,
Due to bed surge, 3NW (7 beds) will open up as an inpatient care area with new admits and med surg patients. They will be Pyxis profiled (the nurses will utilize 3NE's Pyxis machine; these patients will show up in 3NE Pyxis). Note that 3NW patients will still be entered into iCARE (iCARE location as 3NW) and pharmacy will verify orders in iCARE. Clinical coverage for this area will be covered by the N2 Clinical Specialist. Orders verified will be covered by UB5/UB11. Go live date is to be determined very soon, as soon as today or tomorrow. If this becomes a permanent unit, we will later decide permanent coverage.
