Look-alike Sound-alike Warning

Vascular PHENYLephrine (20 mg per 250 mL IV) will be loaded into the following A-systems the week of Nov. 7th

  • Vascular rooms: 7, 9, 11, 15
  • Neuro rooms: 18, 19

A back-up supply will continue to be loaded in the ANESTHESIA Pyxis machine

Note two different PHENYLephrine concentrations and similarity between the VASCULAR PHENYLephrine and NORepinephrine bags
