Subject: NS 250 mL to D5W 250 mL

Effective Thursday, 11/30:

NS 250 mL availability has been very short and we are now in the process of changing the standard fluid of certain drugs from NS to D5W 250 mL.

Please be on alert when preparing these drugs, as the fluid may have changed. These are only changed when ordered in a volume of 250 mL.
